I approached Ms Stock of Kings View Chambers, following an unsuccessful attempt at securing my medical license at the MPTS hearing and after a disappointing performance assessment test.

I was at that stage in a state of rage, anger, depression and desperation. I needed a firm who would be able to represent me in subsequent applications.

I needed to present my case to the tribunal and be successfully restored back to the medical register.

I found Kings View Chambers from an internet search, and decided to consult them, based on their published knowledge of working on similar cases.

I was looking for answers and success guaranteed. Ms Stock’s office scheduled an appointment with me, accommodating me and the unique difficulties. She listened attentively to my case and then explained that she would work closely with me to achieve the best result possible.

Though I was seeking a firm that would guarantee success, she truthfully and openly explained in simple terms the work that needed to be done to give us the best possible chance of success. At the same time cautioning me of the possibility of an unsuccessful outcome, as she explained that the outcome is 100% in the hands of the tribunal.

My case was unique and the firm acknowledged that too. I was submitted the 3rd restoration application for restoration for medical licensure having already taken a performance test which was deemed only satisfactory.

What I particularly liked about Ms Stock’s approach was her candid words and strategy. She laid out what in her experience would give us the best possibility of success, including delaying my application submission. She also gave me a direct contact opportunity, which reassured me of her personal interest in my case.

She was willing to show me compassion and offer a discount on their invoice based on my employment status.

Ms Stock throughout the hearing was professional, contrite and realistic in her submissions to me and handling of the case. As difficult as the case was, she showed great professionalism, tact and empathy as she discussed all possible outcomes during the difficult three day hearing.

I would without reservation recommend GMC Defence Barristers to medical, dental and nursing personnel who require representation with their regulatory organisations
