GMC defence barrister, Catherine Stock, said:
“This doctor’s case was another of our cases successfully concluded at Case Examiners stage with a finding of no case to answer. “This case also demonstrates that early engagement with us leads to better outcomes. Further, that clients need to trust us in terms of how much we present to case examiners and what, if any, information we do not. Sometimes less is more when it comes to strategy at this stage in proceedings.”Dr N said:
“I have had a prolonged investigation by the GMC. I contacted Catherine early in the process. Catherine is incredibly good at understanding complex issues and knowing what to deal with and what to discard. Her advice has been excellent. I felt listened to and understood, but more importantly, I felt really supported by Catherine. She is a phenomenal barrister and I do not hesitate in recommending her.”
