Our client, Dr MK, approached Kings View Chambers very close to the original fitness to practise listing in a matter which was, at that stage, almost inevitably going to lead to erasure by the MPTS.

We intervened and secured a postponement of the hearing in order to implement a strategy focused on minimising damage. Following months of work including legal submissions and a focus on winning the impairment argument, the Dr MK avoided erasure and received a short suspension.
